Abstract

The article discusses various aspects of the use of computer games in the study of foreign languages. The aim is to review research on the use of computer games as a tool for learning a second language and to test in practice the positive role of computer games for the development of second language skills. The data obtained confirm the hypothesis that certain types of computer games can have a positive impact on the development of foreign language skills. The most popular computer games in the field of teaching foreign languages are also considered.
