Abstract

The article discusses issues related to the legal status of employees of private military companies, analyzes the distinction between private military companies and mercenary military organizations. The author explores the reasons for the growing popularity of private paramilitary enterprises in the modern world, determines the ratio of domestic and international legislation on the activities of private military companies.
