Abstract

The paper suggests that digital transformation is associated with the process of humanitarization of engineering education. The research methods include analysis and synthesis, deduction and induction. The conclusions of the work reflect that the digital revolution requires new qualities from an engineer: comprehensive knowledge, their constant expansion, the ability to work in a non-standard situation. It is shown in the practice of some fields of activity the changing role of engineering work in the digital revolution.
