Abstract

The financing of higher education is influenced by the unique nature of the educational process, which includes elements of both public and private goods. This duality gives rise to the problem of balancing private and public funding within this sector. This chapter of the monograph examines various aspects of education financing, both in Russia and abroad, taking into account the cyclical nature of economic development and the specifics of the sector.
