Abstract

Настоящее исследование посвящено одному из наиболее дискуссионных вопросов английской грамматики – проблеме частей речи. Приводится обзор сложившихся подходов к классифицированию слов в английском языке. Авторы приходят к выводу о том, что основными показателями принадлежности слова к тому или иному классу слов являются некоторый набор грамматических признаков и способность выполнять синтаксическую функцию единиц данного класса слов.
