Abstract

Неологизмы являются важным компонентом языкового развития, а также показателем изменений и интересов в обществе, которые актуальны на данный момент. В статье рассматриваются неологизмы, возникшие и распространившиеся в английском языке в 2022, 2023 и 2024 годах. Авторы статьи приводят в алфавитном порядке 15 неологизмов и приходят к выводу о том, что в большинстве случаев английские неологизмы 2022–2024 связаны с экологией/климатом, финансами, эстетикой/модой. Можно предположить, что данные сферы являются наиболее интересными и обсуждаемыми в современном англоязычном сообществе.
