Abstract

The work is devoted to substantiating the need to develop a course on the basics of financial literacy in elementary school. The article presents diagnostic data on the initial level of financial literacy of 4th grade schoolchildren, the structure of the developed course on the basics of financial literacy with a regional component for Bashkortostan, the thematic planning and duration of the course, and the results of a control study after testing the course, from which it can be reliably concluded that the program developed for 4th grades is effective.
