Abstract

In the modern world, the prevalence of depressive disorders is increasing. Depression significantly reduces a person's quality of life. Psychological counseling for people with depression is aimed at reducing the symptoms of depression, including masked ones, manifested, for example, in the form of pain and somatic disorders. Each client is different, as are the causes that led to depression. There are several areas in psychology that offer their own methods and approaches to providing psychological assistance to people with depression.
