Abstract

Статья, написанная в основном на воспоминаниях одного из бывших учителей и коллег Юрия Петровича Смирнова, раскрывает такие черты характера и поведения юбиляра, как исключительное трудолюбие, преданность исторической науке, приверженность к научной и педагогической деятельности, открытость и доброжелательность, готовность оказывать помощь окружающим, любовь в своим родственникам и близким.
