Abstract

A generalized analysis of the main approaches and views on the problem of giftedness is presented, the relationship between giftedness and talent is shown, the importance of providing targeted support to the younger generation in time is demonstrated, the main features and difficulties in working with gifted children, as well as possible risks and ways to overcome them are defined, measures to identify gifted children and talented youth are pointed out.
