Abstract

A scientific analysis on the problem of children's giftedness is presented in the article. The individual approach is thoroughly characterized as a methodological component of modern humanistic education, based on the laws of human individuality and taking into account unique features of each pupil, their aptitudes and needs. Age and psychological features of gifted first-graders are revealed. The authors give a meaningful description of pedagogical work and problems with gifted first-graders. In the course of the research, the authors carried out a theoretical analysis of the literature on the problem. It is concluded that one of the main conditions for the implementation of an individual approach in domestic education is pedagogical activity with gifted children.
