Abstract

The article is devoted to the problem of identifying giftedness taking in-to account the complexity and multi-leveledness of this phenomenon. Theories and concepts of domestic and foreign authors, who reveal the constructs, components, factors, types of giftedness are presented. The special attention is paid to the role of the expert evaluation method in the process of psychodiagnostic work with gifted children, an algorithm for conducting such an evaluation is pointed out, its procedure is described.
