Abstract

The article is devoted to the analysis of the problem of academic dishonesty among students. The concept of "academic dishonesty" is analyzed, and its operational interpretation is given. The main types and specific empirical manifestations of unfair educational practices of students are highlighted and described. Based on the materials of a special sociological study carried out among students of the Ivanovo State Power Engineering University, a statistical assessment of the scale of the spread of educational fraud among students is presented. Risks and threats to the university's education system associated with this phenomenon
