Abstract
The article presents the positions of the authors regarding the term «deviant behavior» and its types. The article considers the ideas about the causes of deviant behavior in senior schoolchildren, among which attention is focused on the following: attitude to their own body, features of puberty, psychological characteristics, intrafamily relationships. Along with this, the article talks about the need for psychological correction of deviant behavior in high school students and, in this regard, draws attention to the methods of psychological correction and prevention of deviant behavior in senior school students proposed by various authors.
