Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of empathy at the student age. The urgency of studying this phenomenon is indicated. The concepts of «emotional culture» and «empathy» in modern psychology have been defined. The results of the study on the dominant level and its individual components in students of different specialties are presented and described. The features of the ability to empathize among students who were brought up in complete and incomplete families are highlighted.
