- The relevance of the topic of the article is due to the presence of certain gaps in the legal regulation of legal relations related to the use of human biomaterial. With the growing interest in human biomaterials, there is a need for legal regulation that would ensure the protection of the rights of research participants, as well as compliance with ethical standards. Civil legislation in this area is not perfect, there are a number of contradictions and problems related to the definition of human biological objects, their legal nature and place in the system of objects of civil rights. The purpose of the study is the possibility of classifying human biological material as objects of civil rights, determining the classification of human organs and tissues depending on their purposes of use, the possibility of using human biological materials as objects of alienation transactions during his lifetime and after death.
