- The purpose of the study is to define the concept of “readiness of military units and subunits to perform tasks for their intended purpose”, its essence and structure, criteria and indicators for assessing the formation of readiness. Based on the analysis of the main documents in the field of security of the Russian Federation, psychological, pedagogical, scientific and military literature, documents in the field of readiness, professional readiness, combat training, readiness of military units and units to perform tasks for their intended purpose in a short time; the results of observations of the practice of training military units and units, conversations with teachers and officers the concept of “readiness of military units and military units to perform tasks for their intended purpose” has been clarified, which means integrative quality, due to their personal characteristics and determining the possibility of carrying out official tasks, acting in concert as part of a unit in various physical and geographical conditions and against any opponent, represented by a set of motivational-value, cognitive, operational and reflexive components.

- The chapter examines the relationship between the personality's focus on achieving success or avoiding failures in professional activities and the creativity of student-future HR managers. The results of a ten-year study of students of the Faculty of Sociology and Management of Ryazan State University named after S.A. Yesenin are presented. Various methods were used to analyze the peculiarities of students' perception of their future professional activity in the context of considering it as professional creativity. The dependence of the conditional level of creative potential and motivation to solve previously unknown professional and creative tasks was determined, as well as barriers blocking the achievement of the goal were identified.

- The relevance of the material lies in its demand due to changes in the domestic economy under the pressure of various force majeure circumstances (COVID-19, various anti-Russian sanctions from unfriendly countries) and the search for ways out of the current difficult situation. In this way, the author sees the improvement of the project personnel management system to preserve the "human capital" and all its components as one of the target indicators. There is a search for new tools and models for "stitching bottlenecks" in the personnel direction. New vectors of development in the most promising areas are predicted. The methods of empirical research are defined: system analysis, comparative analysis, economic and mathematical methods, observation method and others. One of the main research methods is also the normative method, which allows calculating the main indicators of the use of labor resources in project activities on the basis of appropriate methods.

- In modern realities, the issues of ensuring the personnel security of the municipality are of particular importance. Personnel security is a necessary component of any organization, including a municipality. In relation to the municipality, this issue is particularly relevant. There is an increase in the regulatory legal acts regulating the issues of ensuring personnel security. The article identifies the main tools for ensuring the personnel security of the municipality: selection and selection of personnel, loyalty and reliability, control, as well as various methods for assessing the personnel security of the municipality. It is concluded that the correct use of assessment methods can significantly improve the objectivity and reliability of the data, and, consequently, the personnel security of the municipality.

- Based on the analysis of the contemporary state of the development of the system of motivation and stimulation of labour of the personnel, the directions of improving of such processes are defined in the article. It is stated that the effective reparations management benefits to both employer and employee. Employees receiving fair salary, generous bonuses and remunerative incentives in exchange for their work will linger to their jobs, keep high performance and morale. It is noted that the issue of fair labour remuneration is highly relevant these days. The fact that the system of motivation and stimulation of personnel, allowing to solve this problem, has been developed in Russia is highlighted in the article. Author concludes that the effective reparations management contributes to employee’s involvement thus leads to the company’s success.

- The author outlines that in the 21st century, the Russian economy is approaching the inevitable stage in which without intensive development of the quality of the labor force and effective management of it, its growth is impossible. It is noted that dynamically changing time dictates its own rules in market relations. It is also emphasized that further improvement of the business environment institutions, such as the labor market, the system of education and advanced training, requires clear criteria for determining the degree of professionalism of personnel management specialists. These circumstances have created a situation where the need for development of managerial personnel in relation to their level of training has grown significantly. This directly affected the need to modernize the process of training and evaluating staff. In the article, the author explores new approaches to monitoring the level of competence of specialists in personnel management, the formation of labor potential at the regional level. It is shown that as a result of analyzing the requirements for evaluating training in higher education, put forward by employers and comparing them with the professional standard for specialists in this profession, it was revealed that there is a possibility to develop and improve a model for monitoring the level of competence formation of university students. The results of the analysis conducted in the study will allow us to develop the main ways to continue studying the problem of introducing and using new approaches to evaluate training and building labor potential.

- The article presents a comparative analysis of the nature and content of the concepts of risk and business reputation of the organization. The factors that may affect the process of digitalization of the economy in Russia are identified. The relationship between digitalization of the economy and the business reputation of industrial companies is defined. The refined definition of risk suggests considering risk as an economic phenomenon, which is an integral element of all socio-economic processes that occur in the organization, and is able to lead the system out of balance and, consequently, either improve its performance, or lead to undesirable losses, or destroy. The complete concept of business reputation is that it defines it as a stable representation in the minds of contractors of the organization (consumers, government agencies, suppliers, commercial banks) about the good faith of the fulfillment of its obligations, a high level of quality of the products of the efficiency of the implementation of business contracts. The interrelation between increase in business reputation and growth of competitiveness of the industrial organizations is shown. The quantitative index for assessing the level of goodwill by the dynamics of the revealed violations of the organizations in the industry is proposed. The dynamics of this indicator of industrial organizations of the Russian Federation in 2011–2017 is investigated. Such directions of reducing the risk of business reputation of the industrial organization of the Russian Federation as the development of tools for motivating personnel, the intensification of the use of professional psychological assistance for employees and management of industrial companies, the movement of their business reputation in social networks, the improvement of PR-companies of industrial enterprises, the development of self-regulatory organizations of the industry and the intensification of their activities in the management of the process of ensuring business reputation are revealed. The necessity of formation of independent qualified ratings of business reputation of domestic industrial companies formed in the context of sub-sectors of a particular sector of the economy and regions of the Russian Federation is shown.
