- The chapter highlights the methodological aspects of physical education on the problems of organizing and conducting physics classes in Russian universities based on the analysis of scientific and pedagogical sources, questionnaires and surveys conducted among physics teachers of technical and non-technical universities (pedagogical, medical, agricultural, etc.). The problems and emerging trends of teaching physics courses in the higher education system are identified, and methods of teaching physics are proposed that allow students to take into account the profile of their future specialty. Recommendations are given on the organization of independent work of physics students at the university and the assessment of knowledge and skills in physics.
