    The chapter discusses issues related to the process of digital transformation of education and the introduction of digital technologies into the educational process; defines concepts such as «digital educational technologies», «linguistic disciplines», «digital skills», «digital culture», «digital literacy»; considers models for the integration of digital technologies into the educational process; examples of the introduction of digital technologies in the process of mastering linguistic disciplines at the university are given. The relevance of the research is determined by the challenges of modern society to the training of future specialists, one of which is the well-established digital skills of the future specialist.

Наставник в современном университете помогает студенту получать и совершенствовать специализированные навыки и умения, погружает учащегося в научно-исследовательскую деятельность, способствует формированию у студента традиционных духовно-нравственных ценностей, создает условия для сплоченности коллектива и успешной социальной адаптации. Наставник в вузе – это куратор, который развивает у обучающихся как hard skills («жесткие навыки), так и soft skills («мягкие навыки»).
