- Teaching peculiarities of the discriminant analysis methods for training specialists in the «business informatics» field are considered in the study. For these specialists it is important to understand the essence of the model, algorithm of its practical implementation, and approaches for assessing and analyzing the obtained results. Also it is important to understand, why, where, when and how it is possible to apply this method. All this determines the practical orientation of the teaching process.
