A practice-oriented model for preparing future computer science teachers to implement elements of the digital educational environment
Book ChapterPedagogy and psychology of modern education- Authors:
- Iurii V. Ryzhkov, Veronica A. Korsunova
- Work direction:
- Глава 5
- Abstract:
- This chapter addresses the pressing issue of modernizing the training of future computer science teachers at pedagogical universities. The research is motivated by a contradiction between the new requirements for a computer science teacher as an architect of the school's digital educational environment and the insufficient practice-oriented focus of existing curricula. Based on an analysis of graduates' professional deficits and regulatory challenges, the author develops and scientifically substantiates an original practice-oriented training model. Its core consists of specialized practical modules integrated into academic disciplines, aimed at building skills in deploying and administering key elements of the digital educational environment (Apache/Nginx web servers, DBMS, LMS Moodle). The methodological foundation is formed by competency-based and practice-oriented approaches; methods of theoretical analysis, pedagogical modeling, and approbation were used. The model's implementation is supported by a unique environment of educational server platforms («server sandbox," KVM platform). Approbation in the educational process of VGSPU confirmed the model's effectiveness, demonstrated by the development of students' readiness to assume the role of developer and administrator of an educational organization's digital infrastructure. The results are valuable for teacher training university lecturers and educational program developers.

Research Article
Ethnic Culture Volume 7 No 2- Author:
- Tamara A. Kordon
- Work direction:
- Ethno-Cultural Problems of Education
- Abstract:
- The article discusses modern approaches to foreign language teaching, emphasizing the use of virtual excursions as an effective method that promotes the development of language and cultural skills. Virtual excursions, which utilize contemporary digital technologies such as 3D modeling and augmented reality, provide learners with a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the language environment and broaden their cultural horizons, which is vital in the context of international communication. The aim of the study is to demonstrate the potential of using virtual excursions in foreign language teaching at a non-linguistic university. The research was conducted at the Yakovlev’s University, where future teachers participated in a series of virtual excursions focusing on the history and culture of Great Britain. The research methodology included surveys, observations, and semi-structured interviews, allowing an assessment of the students’ language preparedness and engagement before and after the implementation of the innovative teaching method. The results showed a significant improvement in language skills, perception of authentic audio and video materials, as well as knowledge of the cultural aspects of the studied language countries.

- Abstract:
- The authors turn to the theoretical and methodological foundations (the main provisions of systemic, informational, activity-based and personal approaches) of counseling as a potential for the development of a modern system of higher pedagogical education and the implementation of online courses of subject and methodological training. It is proved that consultations are an obligatory component of all structural elements of online courses. The authors present the results of experimental work on the testing of online courses at Volgograd State Socio-Pedagogical University to support the process of mastering and maintaining academic disciplines and practices of the subject-methodical module, as well as the replacement of academic disciplines and practices of this module, and present a model for embedding various types of consultations into online courses created and implemented in the educational process.
