- The article is devoted to the consideration of fundamental changes of natural ecosystems occurring under the conditions of modern technogenesis. The author points out that the most important component of the emerging geosystem is the soil, which, unlike air and water, is most affected by the anthropogenic press. The author comes to conclusion that ongoing processes require a comprehensive understanding of the development trend of complex natural patterns under the conditions of a cardinal transformation of soils through the integration of scientific knowledge generated by a practice-oriented approach.

Information and communication technologies in education of Russia and China

- Abstract:
- The purpose of the article is to identify and substantiate the innovative pedagogical searches in the field of the use of constantly developing information and communications technologies (ICT) in Russia and China. A comparative analysis of types of teaching was carried out taking into account the active use of information and communications technologies. Chinese experience is of great interest to Russian teachers due to the rich Chinese philosophy, national traditions and pedagogical knowledge. Russia and China have deep historical, integration, economic and cultural ties. The system of Chinese education brought the country to the leading position in the world and to the second place in the economy. The author reveals similarities in the education system of Russia and China. Positive achievements in the education systems of each of these countries are mutually enriching each other, acquiring a global character. At the same time, the Chinese education system has a number of achievements that have to be integrated into the Russian education system. The study compares the traditional and innovative types of teaching in Russia and China in terms of indicators: an approach to teaching, a dominant idea, a goal, centering on the subject of activity, teacher (instructor) roles, student roles, values on which a teacher (an instructor) relies, advantages, disadvantages, main results. The study identifies the essential characteristics of the types of teaching and makes it possible to establish that, at a theoretical level, the traditional and innovative types of teaching are opposed, but in practice they organically combine, complement and reinforce each other. China's experience in the use of ICTs in education is invaluable in the implementation of the modernization of education in Russia.

- The tasks of increasing the motivation and cognitive activity of students in the process of studying the natural sciences are considered in the article. Improving traditional and introducing non-standard pedagogical technologies, improving the efficiency and quality of education in preparing students are analyzed by the author. It is shown that with the help of interdisciplinary connections, the tasks of developing natural science and practice, developing the ability of future specialists to adapt to rapidly changing production conditions are solved. The main direction of collective creativity in conducting lectures and practical exercises is interpersonal integration. It is shown that the laboratory practicum is a stimulus for the development of an integrative style of thinking.

- The paper considers the issues of part-time students’ self-study and various ways of its organization in the terms of education modernization. The discussion concerns a reasonable application of new technologies together with traditional methods of teaching part-time students a foreign language. - Abstract:
- The article deals with the problems of professional training of persons serving sentences in correctional institutions. Getting basic general education by convicted persons is an effective means of correction and contributes to the further re-socialization of the individual after release. The article deals with the features of the educational process in relation to certain categories of convicts (disabled, minors). The authors have analyzed the foreign experience of the use of educational and vocational programs in relation to prisoners (on the example of programs in the USA) and drawn conclusions about the possibility of using this experience in peal institutions of the Russian Federation. Based on the analysis of practical experience in the implementation of educational programs in the institutions of the penal system, the authors have proposed revisions and additions to the articles 108 and 112 of the Criminal executive code of the Russian Federation.
