    Abstract:
    The article discusses methods and techniques for organizing research activities of high school students using linguistic dictionaries. Based on the material of two lines of the Russian language teaching and learning materials for grades 10-11 (L.M. Rybchenkova, A.G. Narushevich and N.G. Goltsova, I.V. Shamshin), the analysis of types of exercises focused on working with spelling, explanatory, orthoepic, etymological dictionaries, as well as project assignments is carried out. It has been shown that both textbooks provide didactic material, but additional development of tasks aimed at comparative and diachronic analysis of dictionary entries is required for systematic research work.

    Abstract:
    The article presents a comprehensive analysis of the transformation of state language policy in Uzbekistan from the 20th to the early 21st century. It examines the dynamics of the Russian language's functioning through an interdisciplinary approach and the lens of language planning theory. The study analyzes the historical stages in the formation of the language situation — from the korenizatsiya (indigenization) policy of the 1920s to contemporary institutional reforms. Special attention is paid to the genesis of the legal and regulatory framework and the changing socio-communicative functions of the Russian language amid the strengthening status of Uzbek as the state language. Based on a comparative analysis of Soviet census data and current statistical indicators, the study identifies enduring trends in the preservation of the Russian language as a vital intellectual and communicative resource. The article concludes that the modern linguistic model of Uzbekistan is characterized by a tendency toward a balanced combination of the dominant role of the state language and the preservation of the functional potential of the Russian language in education, science, and international relations. A stable model of national-Russian bilingualism is emerging in Uzbek society, grounded not in administrative coercion but in practical expediency, genuine necessity, and citizens' need to enhance their social status. The national education system serves as the key institutional mechanism for reproducing this bilingual environment.

    Abstract:
    The chapter addresses the problem of creating a modern integrative model for teaching foreign language professional communication, taking into account the requirements of professionalization and specialization. Teaching professional communication is considered as an independent area in the methodology of teaching Russian as a foreign language. The article presents a theoretical justification of the proposed model, characterized by phasing and staging of instruction (in accordance with the Federal State Educational Standard) and level-based content (bachelor's degree, language proficiency levels B1-C1). Modern approaches to modeling the process of teaching professional communication are considered as a synthesis of conceptual provisions of pedagogical and linguodidactic paradigms. The results of linguistic research on metalanguages of various types of professional discourse for educational purposes are clarified. The basic components of the didactic support of the model are identified, and the pedagogical tools for its implementation are characterized. The content of the diagnostic system for assessing the level of communicative competence formation is defined. A system for diagnosing the effectiveness of professional communication language proficiency is proposed, specifying invariant tasks for levels B1-C1. Theoretical methods, content analysis, continuous sampling method, and statistical methods were applied.

  • Experimental test of the effectiveness of motivational tasks in Russian language lessons in grades 5–6

    Abstract:
    This chapter presents the results of a pedagogical experiment that tested the effectiveness of a developed system of tasks aimed at increasing students' motivation to learn Russian. The control group studied using traditional methods, while the experimental group incorporated special motivational tasks based on regional language and speech material into their in-class and extracurricular activities. Three methods are described in detail: a “Table of Forbidden Words” (developing speech culture and self-control), a project-based study of a poem by a local author (updating the cultural code), and a translation analysis of a regional text. Quantitative and qualitative results of the initial and final assessments are presented, as well as a comparative analysis of the academic performance and engagement levels of students in the experimental and control classes. These findings demonstrate consistent positive trends. Qualitative changes were also recorded-increased cognitive independence, decreased anxiety, and increased engagement in class. It is concluded that the inclusion of regionally-focused motivational tasks is effective not only in increasing interest in the Russian language but also in improving subject achievement among students in grades 5 and 6.

  • The concept of a communicative approach in teaching Russian

    Abstract:
    The paper examines the concept of the communicative approach in the methodology of teaching the Russian language. It highlights the history of the development of this approach in Russian pedagogy, reveals its key principles (functionality, situativity, novelty, and speech orientation), and describes the forms of its implementation in lessons (situational exercises and cooperative learning). Special attention is given to the compliance of the communicative approach with the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard for Primary General Education, showing how it contributes to the formation of communicative universal educational actions and the development of students' communicative competence, which includes their readiness and ability to engage in speech communication. The article concludes that this approach is important for developing all language skills (reading, writing, listening, and speaking) and encouraging students to be active in the classroom.

    In intercultural communication, foreign language learners may produce pragmatic failures due to the inappropriate use of politeness expressions, even if they possess a high level of grammatical and lexical competence. Chinese, Russian, and Uzbek differ significantly in their socio-cultural backgrounds, politeness norms, and models of speech behavior. Therefore, speakers of these languages often encounter intercultural pragmatic deviations in the use of forms of address, requests, expressions of gratitude, and responses to gratitude. A systematic analysis of pragmatic failures in these three languages from the perspective of intercultural pragmatics can provide useful guidance for foreign language teaching practice.

    Abstract:
    This article examines a little-studied aspect of the work of the Russian poetess Countess Evdokia Petrovna Rostopchina (née Sushkova)—her influence on the cultural and educational environment of the Voronezh province in the 1830s and 1840s. Based on an analysis of biographical data, epistolary heritage, and historical evidence, the author substantiates the thesis that Rostopchina's prolonged residence on her family estate in the village of Anna in the Bobrovsky district, her creative activity, extensive education, and personal example of service to literature contributed to the formation of cultural aspirations among the local nobility and the awakening of interest in education in the provincial community. This article is the first attempt to examine the Rostopchina phenomenon not only from a literary perspective but also from a historical and pedagogical one, emphasizing her role as an informal cultural force in the Voronezh region.

    This article analyzes the growing role of animation as a powerful tool for conveying cultural meanings in teaching Russian language and culture to primary school students from foreign families. Animated films are considered a unique cultural phenomenon, known for their global distribution and broad impact on students' conceptual worldviews. Animation is analyzed as a special type of polycode discourse, which represents a unique linguacultural phenomenon. A linguacultural analysis of animated discourse is conducted, revealing the specifics of the interaction between language and culture.

    Abstract:
    The purpose of our research is to provide a brief and superficial analysis of the state of the two former Ushkov chemical factories, Kokshansky and Bondyuzhsky, in 1921, three years after their nationalization and a year before the end of the Russian Civil War. The author demonstrated the number of workers and employees, the range and volume of products produced, listed the main and auxiliary production areas, described the energy equipment of the Bondyuzhsky plant, etc. The analysis of archival materials revealed a sharp decrease in the real wages of workers and employees and the suspension of the Kokshansky plant's operations in June 1921.

    Abstract:
    The article is devoted to the study of the process of cross-cultural adaptation of educational programs of the vocal profile in the training of Chinese students in Russian pedagogical universities. The multilevel structure of intercultural interaction is considered, including linguistic, methodological, physiological and cultural-aesthetic components. The language barriers of articulation nature, caused by the phonetic features of the Chinese language, are analyzed. The directions of adaptation of the Russian vocal school are characterized, taking into account the specifics of the students’ vocal apparatus. The productivity of the integrative approach, combining the Russian academic tradition and Chinese musical aesthetics, is substantiated.

  • The Peculiarities of the Use of Verbs of Motion by Russian-Speaking Children

    The present study is devoted to the analysis of the functioning of Russian verbs of motion in child speech. The aim of the article is to describe the main features of the use of these lexemes, which are particularly significant in early childhood, and to analyze instances of deviation from the normative usage of this group of Russian verbs. Investigating the lexical means by which a child conceptualizes motion contributes to a deeper understanding of the semantics of grammatical categories in the Russian language and to elucidating the process of language acquisition in children. The empirical material of the study consists of spontaneous speech data from the author’s two children and their peers, as well as verbal lexicon drawn from child speech dictionaries and scholarly articles on child language by various authors. Written child speech was analyzed on the basis of retellings and essays produced by school-aged children. The article examines how children use verbs of motion and documents atypical, non-standard phenomena associated with their usage. New linguistic data not previously described in the literature are presented. The research methodology includes longitudinal observation, the method of continuous sampling, and comparative analysis of linguistic facts. The article proposes a classification of the most common types of children’s occasional uses of verbs of motion, including the elimination of consonant alternations in stems, incorrect selection between unidirectional and multidirectional verbs, the use of colloquial and substandard forms, creative interpretation and reinterpretation of figurative meanings in polysemous verbs of motion, grammatical errors in verb government, and written errors in the selection of aspectual pairs. The causes of erroneous usage of the analyzed verbal lexicon are identified, and parallels are drawn with phenomena observed in adult colloquial speech within the framework of linguistic creativity. Playful strategies in the use of verbs of motion by Russian-speaking children are identified and interpreted.

    The article presents a summary of novel material on the topic under study, introduces into scientific use such a concept as: "Intensity index of the dissertation research on pedagogy conducted in the Internal and the Russian national guard troops". The purpose of the article is to form the concept, interpret and describe the procedure for calculating the intensity index of dissertation research. The author describes the ways of this tool implementation while studying the dynamics of dissertation research. The article reveals the means to calculate this index designed to help researchers. This article is intended for a wide range of people: teachers, military postgraduate students, applicants for academic degrees, researchers and cadets. The results obtained in it can be implemented in the educational process of military educational institutions of higher education of the Russian National Guard Troops and in conducting research in this field of pedagogical science.

    This chapter provides a comprehensive analysis of the revival of Orthodoxy in Russia at the turn of the 20th and 21st centuries. It highlights the key preconditions that enabled this process to begin after decades of uncompromising state antireligious policies, including the deep historical roots of Orthodoxy and the systemic crisis of Soviet ideology. It identifies and characterizes the key factors that played a decisive role in initiating and sustaining the dynamics of the religious renaissance, including political changes, the proclamation of freedom of conscience, the social demands of society, and the active internal activities of the Russian Orthodox Church. Particular attention is paid to the dynamics of the revival of Orthodoxy and the growth of religiosity among Russians as a whole-from a period of rapid quantitative growth to stages of qualitative development, institutionalization, and the emergence of new challenges. In the final section of the study, the author formulates a conclusion on the current state of development of the institutions of the Russian Orthodox Church in the Russian Federation at the time of the study.

    The article is dedicated to a comprehensive analysis of the judicial procedure for declaring a citizen incapacitated in the Russian Federation. It examines both the substantive and procedural aspects of this institution. The key criteria for incapacity (medical and legal) established by civil legislation are explored, and the procedure for judicial proceedings is described in detail in accordance with the norms of the Civil Procedure Code of the Russian Federation. Special attention is given to the role of forensic psychiatric examination, the legal status of applicants, and the mandatory involvement of guardianship and custody authorities.

    The article discusses some problematic issues related to the improvement of the system of military-patriotic education of Russian youth at the current stage. It analyzes the goals, objectives, and methods of military-patriotic education implemented by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, in particular, in cooperation with government agencies and public organizations. Special attention is given to a critical analysis of the regulatory legal framework, organizational forms, and practical results of activities in this area.     Abstract:
    This article examines the Baptism of Rus' in 988 as a complex process with multiple facets, transcending the boundaries of a simple religious act. The author explains how the adoption of Christianity from Byzantium became a means of centralizing political power, legitimizing the prince's rule, and creating a new ideological system. Cultural changes are analyzed: the emergence of writing, changes in architecture and art, and the emergence of an understanding of history through chronicles and religious texts. The article notes the long and inconsistent process of Christianization, manifested in the mixing of religions and the persistence of pagan elements. Finally, it concludes that Baptism became the foundation not only of the ancient Russian state but also of a model for the development of civilization, whose characteristics—from the idea of ​​a "special path" to the modern relationship between the government and the Church—are present in Russian identity to this day.

  • Risks and Limitations of VR Technologies in Education: The Case of a Russian History Course in Secondary Vocational Education

    Abstract:
    The paper examines the pedagogical risks and limitations of using virtual reality technologies in teaching Russian history at the level of secondary vocational education. The methodological framework combines comparative and theoretical–methodological analysis of Russian and international studies on VR technologies with a classification of the risks identified by researchers. On this basis, we distinguish cognitive, value–semantic, and emotional–psychophysiological groups of risks and demonstrate how they manifest themselves in the context of teaching Russian history within the system of secondary vocational education. The study substantiates the need to design VR episodes as integral components of holistic instructional situations that explicitly take these risks and limitations into account. The paper also outlines directions for further research related to a more detailed elaboration of organizational–methodological and technical constraints.
