    In recent decades, experts in the field of cognitive psychology and epistemology have described about two hundred distortions inherent in human thinking. Systems based on artificial intelligence models that are actively being created and introduced into social practice exhibit characteristics similar to human thinking, incl. cognitive defects. The chapter analyzes some cognitive distortions that, according to the author, are inherent in artificial intelligence models, in particular large generative neural network models.

    Abstract:
    The relevance of this study lies in the fact that modern society is putting forward more and more requirements for graduates of higher educational institutions, to have a certain set of professional competencies, critical thinking and teamwork. The purpose of this study is to consider the concept of critical thinking, to identify the stages and levels of formation of critical thinking among students of higher educational institutions. To achieve these goals, the following research methods were used: theoretical analysis and generalization of scientific and methodological literature of Russian and foreign scientists on the topic under study. The purposeful introduction of critical thinking elements into the process of teaching students a foreign language contributes to the formation of their critical thinking skills. The authors of the study cite individual fragments of the developed foreign language training sessions aimed at developing critical thinking skills. The conclusions of the study emphasize the main role of teachers, who help students interpret, analyze, evaluate and implement the acquired knowledge in practice. Teaching students a foreign language in line with critical thinking requires university teachers to master language competencies, purposeful, systematic preparation for conducting training sessions aimed at completing tasks related to the formation of students’ critical thinking skills.

    Abstract:
    The sustainability of the agri-food system is key to long-term food security. The objective of this study is to identify factors that can hinder the achievement of sustainability of the agri-food system and to determine the most important prospects for its development. The research methodology is based on the use of general scientific and special methods, among which is the method of standardizing indicative indicators of food security, based on calculating the deviation of actual values from their threshold values. The object of study is the agri-food system of the Republic of Mordovia. The study identifies key limitations to the sustainability of the region’s agri-food system, including the unsatisfactory state of fixed assets, insufficient innovative activity of the republic’s agricultural producers, and the complicated situation with food waste processing. Measures to neutralize these threats have been proposed, primarily in the field of digitalization of the industry.

    Abstract:
    The introduction of digital technologies, services and platforms into all spheres of life raises issues of ensuring digital security and the sustainability of socio-economic and political systems in both developed and developing countries. The increasing information impact, including from external forces, is leading many countries to reconsider the principles of preserving national sovereignty. A new political concept of national sovereignty is developing, a separate element of which is digital sovereignty. This paper examines the main priorities of the domestic policy of a number of states (China, Brazil, Germany, USA, India, Norway, Russia) in the field of digitalization, which are aimed at creating digital sovereignty. The authors studied government programs and strategic planning documents; the authors also identified the main problems arising during the digital transformation of economic systems in Russia and proposed ways to solve them.

    This study examines the transformational impact of integrating geographic information systems (GIS) into cadastral mapping to address the inaccuracy, limited availability, and lack of adaptability of traditional systems. The study identified specific and measurable improvements after GIS integration, including a 25% increase in data accuracy, a 30% reduction in search time, and a 40% increase in collaboration capabilities. The results obtained allow us to consider GIS integration as a strategically sound and empirically proven activity that offers concrete solutions to ensure accuracy, efficiency and interaction in the compilation of cadastral maps

    This article explores methods of econometric analysis of financial indicators. The most current and necessary approaches for studying the financial sector in 2023 are identified in this article. The article highlights three main classes of econometric models: time series models, single-equation regression models, and simultaneous equation systems. It is important to emphasize that the choice of method depends on specific goals and the characteristics of the available data. Factors such as data availability and quality, model complexity, research objectives, time frames, and the complexity of relationships all influence the selection of the most appropriate method. Ultimately, the article underscores the importance of carefully selecting a method, conducting an analysis of results, and making informed decisions for effective financial management and forecasting future changes.

    The author's study considers the actual direction related to the "digital transformation" of modern society on the scale of the state. The connection between the global process of digitalisation and the need to introduce changes in the system of personnel training, in particular for the agro-industrial sector, is established. The strengths and weaknesses of digitalisation and their impact on the digital wellbeing of the individual are described. Statistical data reflecting some trends in the development of the digital economy in Russia are analysed. An assessment of the state of digitalisation of agriculture in the country is given, and real examples of the introduction of digital tools in the sector are described. The paper describes the structure of digital transformation of domestic agrarian education, which includes five structural components: technical, software, technological, methodological and organisational-legal. For each component, an overview of existing solutions on the market is given. The opportunities, existing experience and possible problem areas in the training of personnel for agriculture and the formation of digital competences of future graduates are considered.

    The chapter discusses the methodology of measuring and monitoring the structural dynamics of economic systems is considered. It is proposed to generalize the existing models of indicators for assessing structural changes into three main groups: index, spatial-geometric and matrix.     The article deals with the actual problem of information security of adolescents, which is revealed through factors affecting the development of personality. The purpose of the study is the methodological justification of the developed and implemented model of pedagogical support of information security of adolescents in an institution of additional education and pedagogical conditions for its successful implementation. The work is based on theoretical analysis and generalization of pedagogical practice. The material for the study was the content of training courses on programming in an institution of additional education. The results of the study showed that the presented model of pedagogical support of information security of adolescents should be based on synergetic, axeological, socio-cultural and activity approaches. The article specifies the pedagogical conditions under which it is possible to form the qualities of a person capable of resisting information threats and conforming to the norms of our society.
