    Abstract:
    This monograph deals with the problem of threshing and grain separation in two-phase threshing device of the combine. During combine harvesting, high-quality seeds of soya fall into the total mass of the grain, pass through the entire threshing stage by the first and second drums, cleaning, crushing into halves and small parts and sorted out after post-harvest processing. The authors conclude that with this soybean harvesting technology, more than 50% of the seeds are not receiving the natural resource of yield gain, since the different-quality seeds are not separated or collected separately during the operation of the air-screen cleaning of the combine. According to earlier studies, soybean yield losses are 2.7–3.3 dt/ha.

    Abstract:
    The article is devoted to the problem of formation of research competencies of schoolchildren, which are one of the most important in the modern information society. The aim of the study is to substantiate and describe the content of the formation of research competencies of students in teaching mathematics. The study was carried out on the basis of the methods of analysis of pedagogical, methodical literature, modeling method. The paper describes in detail the principles and stages of the formation of research competencies in the process of the entire period of schooling, describes the model of the formation of research competencies of students in teaching mathematics. The structural elements of research competences, determined on the basis of the understanding of competencies as the knowledge, ways of activity and experience, taking into account the specifics of the mathematical content, the characteristics of learning mathematics. The described step-by-step preparation of students for research activities can be used in teaching mathematics at school.

    There are examined professionally-public accreditation of educational programs and direction to identify the features and strengths of programs, the specificity of their implementation, which in consequence will have a positive impact on the quality of training of future specialists. The relevance of the topic to present the new paradigm in the relationships between educational institutions and employers. Employers ' requests for training of specialists due to the ever-increasing demands of the market. In modern conditions the labour market permanently updates its requirements to the quality of graduates of educational institutions. The challenges posed by employer to educational institutions, lies in the fact that the future specialist must be suitable not only on educational performance but also on psychological, individual, management and most importantly on professional qualities, are widely demanded at the present stage.

    The analysis of social and cultural reality shows that the increase in the education quality is one of actual problems of modern society. Foreign language competence of the students of agricultural institutions is a part of their professional competence and it is understood as a complex of cultural and professional competences necessary to solve professional tasks with a functional level of a foreign language. The forming of a foreign language competence of the students of agricultural institutions is exercised due to implementation of the following pedagogical conditions: working out teaching and learning aids, creating and supporting motivation to the professional foreign language study, analysis of learning outcomes.

    Comprehending and understanding a language is necessary when students are learning a new language due to the fact that people always need to communicate and interact with others in different spheres, in scientific one as well. Young scientists should be able not only to translate scientific texts, but also to be able to communicate with international colleagues, as in the XXI century science has become global, and English is the language that unites it. The article reviews some options for practicing oral scientific speaking skills in the modern world using information technologies, for example using the application for a Smartphone, «Wakie’. Proved is that the app mentioned increases students’ oral scientific speech skills along with other forms of work on a language.
