- The article addresses the pressing issue of skilled labor shortage in the metallurgical industry, caused by workforce aging and declining youth interest in industrial professions. An innovative approach to training future metallurgists is proposed through the introduction of the course "Formation of Professional Self-Awareness of the Future Metallurgist," based on the author's "Self-Awareness Development System." Particular emphasis is placed on developing personal maturity, conscious career choice, and a stable professional self-concept among students. - Yuliya N. Kuznetsova

- Pedagogy and Modern Education
- Abstract:
- The article substantiates the importance of studying the discipline "Russian and Foreign literature" in the training of cadets of military universities in Russia. It is noted that when reading and analyzing the works provided for in the program, future officers form ideas about the causes of socio-economic, military-political, moral and moral crises of different historical eras, and develop respect for the historical heritage. The educational role of fiction is substantiated, as well as the need for cadets of military universities to study the works of domestic and foreign writers about the war, during which not only the cultural horizons of future officers are expanded, but also high moral qualities of the individual are formed: a sense of patriotism, pride in their profession. It is summarized that the quality of patriotic education of future officers directly depends on their ability to resist the enemy, the ability to show fortitude and reveal the "Russian character", in critical moments to raise the fighting spirit of their colleagues, to be an example of a true patriot, ready to sacrifice his life for the sake of a lofty idea – the defense of the Fatherland, the protection of his people.

- Abstract:
- More than 20 years the two-level system of higher education within the framework of Bologna system has been developing in the Russian Federation. However, it proved to be untenable for the Russian Federation, as it significantly reduced the quality of training of university students as professionals demanded by domestic organisations. Under the conditions of economic sanctions against Russia by the USA and a number of countries, it became necessary to implement the import substitution strategy. But its implementation required the development of industry, opening of new enterprises and production facilities, which, in turn, required professionals capable of doing this. As a consequence, it was necessary to change the system of training the necessary specialists in domestic universities. The study of the identified problems was carried out taking into account the practical experience of the author, using the method of included observation and discussion of the identified problems at various conferences, as well as the study of various studies on this issue.

- Abstract:
- Chapter of the monograph reflects the problems of training specialists of a new creative type, who are distinguished by a high level of professionalism, who are ready for professional and creative self-realization, who have a need for constant professional and personal development and growth. Professional and creative self-realization was not previously considered as a value-target reference point for the professional training of specialists in the field of culture, which makes our study relevant, given the current priorities of higher education. The model of the process of training specialists in the sphere of culture for professional and creative self-realization developed by the author is built in accordance with the logic of a holistic approach in the unity of its internal structure (goal – content – means – result). In the process of implementing the model, a gradual increase in the quality of formation of the studied readiness was carried out. In the system of pedagogical means to form the readiness of specialists for professional and creative self-realization, innovative technologies (playing, projective, creative) are leading. The implementation of these technologies contributed to the acquisition of experience in personal, professional and professional-creative self-realization by future specialists in the field of culture. Modern Problems of the Development of Russian Higher Education as a Practice-Oriented Professional Education
Book Chapter
Psychological and Pedagogical Issues of Modern Education- Author:
- Aleksandr A. Kiselev
- Work direction:
- Foreword
- Abstract:
- The following paper analyzes the Russian system of education. Modern practice in the development of higher professional education shows that today's graduates of Russian universities for the most part are not prepared for real practical work in organizations as professionals. Undoubtedly, the time and changing conditions for the implementation of the activities of Russian universities over the past three decades have changed significantly. However, the training of modern professionals in the new conditions was based not on the domestic experience of universities, but on foreign approaches to two-level higher education – the training of graduates of Russian universities as bachelors and masters. But at the same time, Russian researchers and officials do not have a clear understanding of the difference in the level of professional training of students, both bachelors and masters. And the declared new “competence-based approach”, when it is proposed to form students with rather “vague” competencies, presented in the Federal State Educational Standards for Higher Education of the Federal State Educational Standards of Higher Education 3++, does not allow employers to see the professionals they need in a modern university graduate. And the fact that the modern West does not recognize the diplomas of graduates of Russian universities indicates that today it is necessary to implement a policy of import substitution in higher education, and, based on domestic experience in training graduates of Russian universities as specialists-engineers, to prepare them for real practical work in Russian organizations.
