    Abstract:
    The article is devoted to the study of the possibilities of using gamification methods in the correctional and developmental education of primary school students with intellectual disabilities. In the context of implementing the principles of inclusive education, pedagogical technologies that can compensate for cognitive deficits and activate cognitive activity become particularly relevant. Based on the analysis of the works of L. S. Vygotsky, D. B. Elkonin, J. Piaget, and A. R. Luria, as well as modern empirical studies (N. A. Kotelevtseva, N. L. Karavaeva, and others), the article examines the mechanisms of the influence of game elements, such as point systems, level complexity, and immediate feedback, on the development of attention, memory, self-regulation, and social skills in this category of students. The article emphasizes the need for a thorough adaptation of gamified methods to the specific psychophysical characteristics of children with intellectual disabilities.

    Abstract:
    This article explores the pressing issue of developing preschool-age children's reading competence through the creation of a comprehensive reading infrastructure within preschool educational institutions. Drawing on the "Concept of the National Program for Supporting Children's and Youth Reading in the Russian Federation," the authors explore the structural components of this infrastructure: motivational, environmental, spatial-temporal, and communicative. Particular attention is paid to the practical implementation of the proposed model within the framework of a municipal innovation platform, demonstrating the path from theoretical concept to the creation of an environment in kindergarten where children not only learn to read but also truly fall in love with books.

    Abstract:
    This article addresses the problem of activating the cognitive activity of high school students in the process of preparing for the OGE, or the Basic State Exam in Mathematics, through the use of digital tools. A review of scientific works dedicated to both the activation of students' cognitive activity and the use of digital tools for this purpose has been conducted. The authors examine three aspects that encourage high school students to use digital tools in their exam preparation: 1) motivational; 2) the opportunity to independently identify problems, formulate hypotheses, and control their actions; 3) the achievement of new educational results that are difficult or impossible to obtain in traditional forms. As a result, a classification of digital tools and platforms such as Uchi.ru, Reshu OGE, Online Test Pad, FIPI, "YaKlass," and "Foxford" is presented, along with their advantages and disadvantages. This will further assist students in more accurately selecting suitable platforms

Special attention is given to the specific ways cognitive interest manifests in students with disabilities, particularly those with intellectual impairments. Drawing on the works of G. I. Shchukina, L. S. Vygotsky and other scholars, the paper outlines key pedagogical conditions that foster and sustain cognitive motivation in inclusive educational settings. It is emphasized that cognitive interest serves not only as a driving force behind academic engagement but also as an indicator of harmonious personal development.

  • The Benefits of Including Ethnocultural Onomastic Material in the Middle School Geography Curriculum

    Abstract:
    This paper focuses on the study of ethnic onomastics as a means of supplementing of the middle school geography curriculum. The work is devoted to the study of the developmental and educational potential of ethnic onomastics. Ethnic onomastics includes such proper names as ethnonyms, anthroponyms, toponyms, mythonyms, theonymy, cosmonymy. It is in ethnic onomastics that the unique image of a people, the richness and beauty of their language, their moral and aesthetic values, and their environmental and religious views are expressed in a concentrated form. Much of ethnic onomastics is significant at the level of symbolism, as it is associated with symbolic personalities, symbolic events and historical legends. The author selected and didactically revised onomastic material, arranging onyms by topic in accordance with the study plan for the “Geography of Russia” course. Onomastic assignments were developed, incorporating onyms reflecting the cultural and ethnic characteristics of the region. The author’s school geography curriculum was tested in schools in Gorno-Altaisk and demonstrated its effectiveness. Furthermore, a special course developed for geography teachers using ethnocultural onomastic material enhanced the effectiveness of pedagogical efforts. The methodological materials developed by the author can be recommended for developing students’ interest in geography and the culture of their native land, fostering a love for their homeland and a sense of belonging to its history, and, overall, cultivating cultural competence.

  • A practice-oriented model for preparing future computer science teachers to implement elements of the digital educational environment

    Abstract:
    This chapter addresses the pressing issue of modernizing the training of future computer science teachers at pedagogical universities. The research is motivated by a contradiction between the new requirements for a computer science teacher as an architect of the school's digital educational environment and the insufficient practice-oriented focus of existing curricula. Based on an analysis of graduates' professional deficits and regulatory challenges, the author develops and scientifically substantiates an original practice-oriented training model. Its core consists of specialized practical modules integrated into academic disciplines, aimed at building skills in deploying and administering key elements of the digital educational environment (Apache/Nginx web servers, DBMS, LMS Moodle). The methodological foundation is formed by competency-based and practice-oriented approaches; methods of theoretical analysis, pedagogical modeling, and approbation were used. The model's implementation is supported by a unique environment of educational server platforms («server sandbox," KVM platform). Approbation in the educational process of VGSPU confirmed the model's effectiveness, demonstrated by the development of students' readiness to assume the role of developer and administrator of an educational organization's digital infrastructure. The results are valuable for teacher training university lecturers and educational program developers.

  • The role of authentic texts in developing reading fluency among school students

    In this work, the focus was placed on how real-world materials help students move beyond artificial textbook language and interact with English as it is used by native speakers. Attention was drawn to the idea that reading fluency develops not only through speed and accuracy, but also through the ability to grasp meaning, interpret context, and respond to content emotionally and intellectually. During the work, authentic texts were viewed as newspapers, online articles, short stories, advertisements, blogs, and other naturally occurring samples of language. In the work, it was highlighted that regular exposure to authentic content increases engagement, encourages curiosity, and motivates students to read more. This creates a space where reading is not a mechanical decoding activity but a living dialogue with language. There was also shown a connection between authentic input and vocabulary growth, as students encounter idioms, discourse markers, and natural phrasing that rarely appear in simplified materials. As a result, learners gradually read faster, recognize patterns more confidently, and approach texts with less fear. The presented material confirms that authentic reading practice forms fluency more deeply than traditional scripted texts and prepares school students for real communication beyond the classroom.

Typical situations leading to misunderstandings and disputes between parents and teachers are analyzed. The paper highlights the key causes contributing to conflicts, such as insufficient communication, children's problems (behavioral or educational), parents' dissatisfaction with the educational process, biases and prejudices of participants in interaction towards each other, and emotional factors.   • Individual Prevention of Juvenile Delinquency in Secondary Schools

    This article aims to conceptualize, describe, and validate a model for preventing deviant behavior among at-risk students in a general education school setting. The research is based on an analysis of the practical experience of a specific educational institution implementing this model. The study's materials include school regulations, individualized rehabilitation programs, observations of students, semi-structured interviews with educational stakeholders, and data from surveys and tests. The research methods employed are case studies, a review and synthesis of pedagogical practices, and analytical descriptions with modeling elements. The results highlight the model's strengths, such as a comprehensive approach to prevention, individualized corrective and pedagogical activities, active student involvement in the preventive process, optimization of the teaching staff's work, and a focus on fostering positive motivation. Potential limitations and challenges are also identified, including the need for a high level of professional competence among mentors, the risk of perfunctory completion of individual developmental maps, the difficulty in verifying the system's effectiveness, and the dependence of subproject success on the activity of classroom teachers. The conclusion underscores the effectiveness and promise of the presented model for reducing the risk of deviance and improving students' social adaptation. A system for monitoring and evaluating effectiveness, incorporating both quantitative and qualitative indicators, is proposed. The crucial role of the school librarian as a library mentor in preventive work is emphasized.

    Abstract:
    Specialized school education today aims to enhance learning motivation and acquire knowledge and skills necessary for future professions. The choice of specialized subjects by 9th-grade graduates for in-depth study in specialized 10th-11th grades also implies passing the Unified State Exam (USE) in these subjects at the specialized level. However, the results are often lower than expected by graduates, their parents, and teachers. This article, based on an analysis of the 2024 Unified State Exam (USE) results in mathematics (specialized level), examines the format of self-analysis of a mathematics teacher's own errors in teaching schoolchildren. It proposes a set of updated competencies for mathematics teachers to improve the quality of graduates' mathematical training. As a result of discussing the problems of modern specialized school mathematics education, particularly the update of the direction of specialized school education (introduction of agrotechnological classes), with participants of professional development programs (specialists from regional education development institutes overseeing specialized school education, and heads and deputy heads of general education organizations), constructive approaches to mathematical training of schoolchildren are outlined. These approaches aim to apply mathematical knowledge, applied mathematical skills, and abilities in mastering related academic subjects, using the example of mathematics education in specialized agrotechnological classes.

    The chapter is devoted to the application of a set of psychological and pedagogical techniques in experimental biology teaching. The analysis has shown that psychological and pedagogical techniques are an important means of improving the quality of biology education and contribute to the creation of a favorable emotional atmosphere. The chapter notes that the learning process is not a passive consumption of information, but a dynamic formation of knowledge in a social context. Students do not just receive information from the teacher, but independently participate in the educational process – they ask questions, engage in discussions, analyze tasks together with their peers, or perform project work. Collective activity becomes the basis. The teacher only organizes a space for information search, helps to structure students' thoughts and develop the ability to solve problems independently. When using these approaches, students become the authors of their own educational path: they master information analysis skills, develop critical thinking, gain experience in teamwork and social communication. Active participation helps to increase motivation to study due to personal involvement in joint activities with peers. This training format meets the requirements of modern society for the universal skills of school graduates.

  • Comparative analysis of two approaches to teaching and diagnosis of teaching motives

    Abstract:
    The study focuses on a comparative analysis of the cultural-activity approach and the theory of self-determination related to learning and the diagnotics of learning motives. In addition to the theoretical analysis, the study presents the results of an empirical study of the perceptions of high school students and college students regarding learning motives, which was conducted using a voluntary, anonymous online survey conducted on a Google form. The sample consisted of 107 9th-11th grade students and college students aged 14–19 years. Four methods were used: «Diagnotics of University Students’ (and High School Students’) Learning Motivation» (Badmaeva, 2004), «Academic Motivation Scales» (Gordeeva, Sychev, Osin, 2014), «Comprehensive Assessment of Learning Motivation» (Vartanova, 2000), and «Comprehensive Assessment of Learning Motivation – Pilot Scales», which includes six scales derived from this questionnaire (Glotova, Sh ipilova, 2025). Correlation analysis (according to Spearman) and factor analysis with Varimax rotation were used to process the data. As a result of the study, multiple correlations were obtained between the scales of the four methods; factor analysis revealed the influence of the «social spectrum» learning motive factor and the three «activity spectrum» learning motive factors in the perceptions of high school students; it was shown that the differences in the distribution of the scales of the four methods relative to the identified factors are largely due to the theoretical and methodological differences between the cultural-activity approach and the theory of self-determination, which underlie the methods of diagnosing learning motivation and the learning technologies associated with these approaches.
