    Abstract:
    The article considers the problem of forming the communicative skills of younger schoolchildren as one of the key ones in modern schools. The relevance of the study is due to the need to develop children's skills of effective interaction with other people and the environment required by modern educational standards, as well as the difficulties in implementing these skills in the educational process. The purpose of the study is to analyze and compare theoretical approaches to the formation of communication skills of younger students. students to identify effective ways of their development in education. The author refers to the ideas of L.S. Vygotsky and A.N. Leontiev, who emphasize the importance of dialogue and joint activity in the formation of communicative skills. The conclusion is made about the need for dialogical methods and practical work in the educational process for the formation of full-fledged communicative skills of younger schoolchildren.

    Abstract:
    Specialized school education today aims to enhance learning motivation and acquire knowledge and skills necessary for future professions. The choice of specialized subjects by 9th-grade graduates for in-depth study in specialized 10th-11th grades also implies passing the Unified State Exam (USE) in these subjects at the specialized level. However, the results are often lower than expected by graduates, their parents, and teachers. This article, based on an analysis of the 2024 Unified State Exam (USE) results in mathematics (specialized level), examines the format of self-analysis of a mathematics teacher's own errors in teaching schoolchildren. It proposes a set of updated competencies for mathematics teachers to improve the quality of graduates' mathematical training. As a result of discussing the problems of modern specialized school mathematics education, particularly the update of the direction of specialized school education (introduction of agrotechnological classes), with participants of professional development programs (specialists from regional education development institutes overseeing specialized school education, and heads and deputy heads of general education organizations), constructive approaches to mathematical training of schoolchildren are outlined. These approaches aim to apply mathematical knowledge, applied mathematical skills, and abilities in mastering related academic subjects, using the example of mathematics education in specialized agrotechnological classes.

  • Emotional Intelligence and Assertiveness: Aspects of the Relationship in Helping Professions Students

    In the contemporary world, characterized by high uncertainty and increasing demands on specialists, especially in helping professions, the development of key personal competencies becomes critically important. The aim of this study was to investigate the interrelationship between emotional intelligence and assertiveness in students preparing for helping professions. The study involved 100 students (aged 17–18) studying psychology and pedagogy. Emotional intelligence was assessed using methods by D. V. Lyusin, M. A. Manoylova, and N. Shutte. The level of assertiveness was measured using the V. P. Sheinov questionnaire. Statistical data processing was performed using Pearson's correlation analysis. The results revealed statistically significant positive correlations between all studied indicators of emotional intelligence and the level of assertiveness. The strongest relationships were found between assertiveness and intrapersonal and interpersonal emotional intelligence (Lyusin's method), the integral emotional intelligence indicator and the ability to manage one's own feelings (Manoylova's method), and the overall emotional intelligence score (Shutte's method). The data confirms the hypothesis of a close interrelationship between these constructs and emphasizes the need for targeted development of emotional intelligence and assertiveness during the professional training of future helping professionals. This will contribute to enhancing their professional effectiveness.

  • Comparative analysis of two approaches to teaching and diagnosis of teaching motives

    The study focuses on a comparative analysis of the cultural-activity approach and the theory of self-determination related to learning and the diagnotics of learning motives. In addition to the theoretical analysis, the study presents the results of an empirical study of the perceptions of high school students and college students regarding learning motives, which was conducted using a voluntary, anonymous online survey conducted on a Google form. The sample consisted of 107 9th-11th grade students and college students aged 14–19 years. Four methods were used: «Diagnotics of University Students’ (and High School Students’) Learning Motivation» (Badmaeva, 2004), «Academic Motivation Scales» (Gordeeva, Sychev, Osin, 2014), «Comprehensive Assessment of Learning Motivation» (Vartanova, 2000), and «Comprehensive Assessment of Learning Motivation – Pilot Scales», which includes six scales derived from this questionnaire (Glotova, Sh ipilova, 2025). Correlation analysis (according to Spearman) and factor analysis with Varimax rotation were used to process the data. As a result of the study, multiple correlations were obtained between the scales of the four methods; factor analysis revealed the influence of the «social spectrum» learning motive factor and the three «activity spectrum» learning motive factors in the perceptions of high school students; it was shown that the differences in the distribution of the scales of the four methods relative to the identified factors are largely due to the theoretical and methodological differences between the cultural-activity approach and the theory of self-determination, which underlie the methods of diagnosing learning motivation and the learning technologies associated with these approaches.

    This chapter discusses the features of the formation of logical thinking in primary school students based on modern innovative methods and pedagogical technologies. Particular attention is paid to the analysis and classification of innovative teaching methods, such as gaming technologies, critical thinking development technology, problem-based learning, the use of digital interactive resources, as well as elements of STEM education. Describes the conditions for the effective use of these approaches in the educational process of primary school, as well as pedagogical techniques that contribute to the formation of basic logical operations: analysis, comparison, synthesis, generalization, classification. Presents examples of tasks and exercises aimed at developing logical thinking within the framework of classroom and extracurricular activities.     This chapter provides a detailed review and description of the specifics of teaching reading at the secondary school level, including the types, skills, and abilities necessary for developing successful reading experience in English. Particular attention was paid to the goals of teaching reading, which are aimed not only at developing text perception skills, but also at developing critical thinking and understanding of semantic content in students. The research presents and analyzes a methodological technique – the «Fishbone» technique, purposed at developing reading skills. Its advantages were highlighted, such as structuring information, developing analytical thinking, and improving understanding of text material. It turned out that the use of this technique helps to activate students' cognitive activity and increase their interest in the language being studied. Thus, successful acquisition of reading skills in secondary school requires an integrated approach that combines knowledge of the age characteristics of students, a clear understanding of the learning goals, and the introduction of effective methodological techniques, such as the «Fishbone» technique. This makes the learning process more effective and exciting, creating a solid foundation for further language development.

    The article examines the problem of speech disorders in younger schoolchildren studying in rural schools in the period from 2010 to 2025. The current state of the prevalence and structure of speech disorders is analyzed, and factors influencing their occurrence and development in rural areas are identified. The results of an empirical study aimed at studying the peculiarities of speech development of younger schoolchildren in rural schools are presented. The prospects of correctional work with children with speech disorders in rural schools, including the use of modern technologies and methods, are substantiated.

    The chapter is dedicated to the problems of financial well-being of modern students. Using analytical and statistical methods, the monograph carried out a dynamic analysis of the higher education system in Kazakhstan, identified its main trends, indicating a high interest of the population in higher education, as well as the predominance of private universities in the structure of higher education institutions. The use of interviewing, questionnaire and expert survey methods made it possible to characterize the socio-demographic and psychographic profile of a modern Kazakhstani student, to identify the problems of his financial condition. The analytical method provided a review, systematization and generalization of the main financial support tools for students, including public, intra-university and private ones. The analysis has shown that any student has the right and opportunity to use one or another financial support tool if certain requirements are met, and the task of teachers is to help students determine the sources of strengthening their financial stability.

    The development of educational export is an important strategic task both for Russian universities at the institutional level, allowing them to increase the level of global competitiveness, and at the state level, ensuring the implementation of the principles of the «soft power» strategy. Both of these goal-settings contribute to the achievement of national interests through attraction and persuasion. To increase the efficiency of the export of Russian education and high-quality training of specialists for the global labor market, it is necessary to develop effective methods, mechanisms and technologies for improving the intercultural adaptive environment of educational organizations, which became the main goal of this study. Cultural diversity is a key value guide for the classification of cultures of peoples and countries, as well as an important criterion for the effective management of multicultural groups and organizations. In the context of educational organizations, cultural diversity is becoming a powerful driver for the development of competencies in the host institutions for foreign students, but it is important to systematically approach all components of an intercultural adaptive environment based on the implementation and scaling of best practices. In this study, based on a sociological survey of foreign students in Russian universities, priority adaptation tools are systematized both along the internal contour of the educational organization, as well as and in external bilateral and network interactions. The research recommendations are both strategic in nature, defining the fundamental tasks of educational organizations to create an intercultural adaptive environment, and of an applied and methodological nature, based on proposals regarding the development of specific tools for intercultural adaptation.

    Abstract: The article discusses methods of teaching the discipline "Life Safety" with an emphasis on preserving students' health and preventing negative tendencies. The article analyzes modern interactive and practice-oriented approaches that contribute to the formation of an informed attitude towards safety, a healthy lifestyle and stress tolerance. Such techniques as the case method, role-playing games, discussions and debates, and project activities aimed at developing critical thinking, decision-making skills, and preventing antisocial behavior are considered. The importance of using digital technologies, self-regulation trainings and measures to promote a healthy lifestyle is emphasized.
