    The chapter analyzes the process of developing variable and parametric typography from the perspective of a cultural‑ecological approach. Modern font classification systems are examined, and the need to revise them in light of the emergence of complex display and parametric forms is substantiated. A methodology for designing dynamic identity is proposed, which includes the stages of pre‑project research, form generation, automation, and adaptation of fonts for various media. The practice of applying this methodology in teaching design students is described, and the results of project activities are presented. The conclusion is drawn regarding the importance of integrating variable and parametric typography into the educational process to develop competencies in the field of adaptive design and algorithmic thinking.

    The chapter analyses global and Russian experience in the prevention of and counteraction to bullying in the educational environment. Scandinavian programmes (Olweus, KiVa), American legislative and behavioural models (PBIS), Asian approaches (Japan, South Korea), and practices of BRICS countries (Brazil, India, China, South Africa) are examined. Common features of successful strategies are identified: systematicity, multi-level approach, involvement of all educational process participants, and consideration of cultural context. Special attention is paid to Russian projects («Everyone Matters», «Travli.NET»), federal and regional initiatives, and current legislative proposals. The necessity of creating a unified national bullying prevention programme combining best foreign practices and Russian innovations is substantiated. The chapter is addressed to teachers, psychologists, educational administrators, and social prevention specialists.

    The chapter is devoted to the problems of aesthetic properties of water supply and sewerage systems studying in higher education. The problem’s history is briefly described and previous scientific works are named. The main reasons for which it is necessary to pay attention to technical aesthetics while designing such engineering systems are formulated. Recommendations for choosing aesthetic characteristics are given, and the author also suggests 5 principles that improve the aesthetics of such systems. Each of the principles is illustrated with specific examples from domestic and foreign experience in design and teaching.

    Abstract:
    The article provides a theoretical substantiation of the organizational and pedagogical support for the cooperation of teachers in specialized primary school classes. The concept of "teacher cooperation" is defined, and its components and efficiency criteria are identified. Organizational and pedagogical conditions are systematized: normative-managerial, scientific-methodological, psychological-pedagogical, and spatial-temporal. It is shown that their creation ensures the transition from fragmented contacts to a polysubject community and the integrity of the profile-oriented educational process. The theoretical significance lies in developing a conceptual basis for models of teacher interaction in the new educational reality.

    The chapter examines the principles of forming a commercial bank's ecosystem as a strategic transition from the role of an isolated financial intermediary to that of an operator providing comprehensive services for various aspects of clients' lives. The core principles include hyper-personalization, open APIs, modular architecture, and a high degree of customer centricity. Based on economic-statistical analysis, a comparative analysis of Russian bank ecosystems (Sber, Yandex, T-Bank), and a client survey, it is established that ecosystem formation is grounded in the principles of a unified digital platform, customer orientation, modularity, and security. The analysis confirms steady growth in the number of clients and revenue, but also reveals risks of monopolization and insufficient regulation. In the future, improvements to the regulatory framework are required, including the introduction of risk-sensitive limits.

    The study, covering the period from 2010 to 2025, analyzes the transformation of the Russian labor market in the context of four fundamental shifts (recovery from the global crisis, sanctions adaptation, the COVID-19 pandemic, and the transition to technological sovereignty). Using a comprehensive econometric toolkit (testing time series for stationarity, correlation and cointegration analysis, principal component analysis, and autoregressive models), the study establishes that the labor market has ceased to serve as a passive shock absorber during crises and has become a core load-bearing element of the new economic ecosystem. Systemic contradictions are identified: an anomalous relationship between key rate increases and nominal wage growth, rising structural unemployment due to a mismatch between worker qualifications and employer demands, an acute shortage of engineers, and job creation predominantly in traditional heavy industry, which runs counter to environmental objectives. Principal component analysis reveals that 70% of the system's variability is captured by a single latent factor (employment, wages, and the key rate); a pro-cyclical pattern of monetary policy is identified. A significant negative correlation is found between environmental pressure and unemployment. An autoregressive model incorporating the macroeconomic overheating index, environmental factors, and innovation is identified as optimal. The key driver of qualitative growth is the rate of human capital renewal rather than its absolute volume. Institutional conditions for the transition to intensive labor resource management are formulated.

    The chapter examines the impact of generative artificial intelligence on the transformation of the social ecosystem, understood as a set of interdependent institutions, norms, practices, social roles and communication channels whose stability is maintained through the coordination of expectations among its elements. Generative AI is considered an actor in terms of the consequences of its inclusion in social relations and a quasi-subject in terms of how it is perceived in communication, while being neither a subject nor an instrument in the traditional sense. The genealogy of the quasi-subject concept is traced through comparison with actor-network theory, the theory of social action and the concept of «other sociality». The crises of education, the labour market, law and science are interpreted as a system of ecosystem contradictions and ruptures arising from incompatible institutional requirements concerning AI use. The chapter introduces the concept of multiple local social consensuses, each representing a particular way of closing the AI «black box», analyses the mechanisms that generate trust in AI through the concepts of the black box and simulacra, and proposes principles for restoring coherence within the social ecosystem.

    This article discusses the issues of the legal regime of the spouses' property. Family legal relations are among the most difficult from the point of view of regulatory regulation of the spheres of social life of society. This situation is due to the fact that these legal relations — including legal and moral (moral) prescriptions — are quite strongly interconnected. At the end of the 20th and beginning of the 21st centuries, significant socio-economic transformations took place in our country, which required a revision of many legal institutions, including civil and family legislation.   • Liability for knowingly false reports of terrorist acts in the context of digitalization

    Abstract:
    The article analyses criminal liability for knowingly false reports of an act of terrorism in the context of rapid digitalisation. The study is relevant due to the growing number of such crimes committed via social networks, instant messengers and anonymous online platforms - they significantly increase destabilisation, provoke panic and cause substantial economic damage. The key problems relate to qualifying the offence under Article 207 of the Russian Criminal Code: it is difficult to prove the element of «knowingness», identify anonymous users and collect digital evidence. The research relies on formal‑legal, comparative‑legal and statistical methods. It proposes measures to improve Article 207, including differentiated liability for mass dissemination of false information, enhanced cooperation between law enforcement agencies and IT companies, and the use of preventive digital tools. The author stresses the need to balance anti‑terrorist security and freedom of speech.

    The article analyses the role and effectiveness of public control in Russia’s contract system, focusing on legal bases for citizens’ and organisations’ participation and implementation problems. The study uses formal legal, comparative legal and statistical methods, examines Law No. 44 FZ and data from the FAS and the Ministry of Finance. Expanded control tools do not significantly improve procurement quality. Key issues: ineffective public discussions, poor quality complaints, inconsistent appeal timelines, lack of systematic involvement by qualified associations. Proposed improvements: qualification requirements for control subjects, expanded preventive intervention, unified procedures, a register of accredited controllers, mandatory customer feedback, liability for ignoring observers’ comments.

    The current stage of society's development is characterized by the rapid digital transformation of all spheres of government activity, which fully applies to the law enforcement system. Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) have become an integral attribute of both armed conflicts and the daily operational and official activities of law enforcement agencies. The emergence of new threats related to the illegal use of drones, on the one hand, and the expansion of the functionality of their legal use to solve law enforcement problems, on the other, necessitated a fundamental revision of approaches to training personnel of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. Of particular importance is the issue of including competencies in the field of operation of unmanned systems in the system of professional service and physical training, which requires both theoretical understanding and practical implementation at the level of departmental regulatory regulation.

  • Intergenerational interaction in student volunteering practices

    Abstract:
    The article considers intergenerational interaction in the practice of student volunteering as a way of social support for citizens and the transmission of moral and social values. Various formats of intergenerational volunteering are presented: mentoring and skills transfer; digital socialization; preserving history and strengthening the connection of generations; "students to parents" as an exchange of resources; family volunteering - through projects implemented by the student association Volunteer detachment "Socionom" of the Murmansk Arctic University. The work noted the bilateral effect of practices with a positive impact on representatives of different generations, including the student volunteers themselves. The conclusion was made about the importance of student volunteer associations as subjects of social support and institutions of intergenerational communication in the region.

  • Formation of Reading Literacy in Grades 5–9 as a Pedagogical Problem: Essence, Structure, and Diagnostics

    Abstract:
    The article examines the problem of developing reading literacy among students in grades 5–9 in the context of contemporary educational tasks. In this work, reading literacy is understood as an integrative quality of the personality, realized in the activity of meaningful reading and comprising motivational, informational, practice-oriented, and empathic components. The use of analytical methods is proposed as the leading pedagogical means ensuring the simultaneous development of the components outlined above. The application of analytical methods makes it possible to deepen the semantic analysis of a text and to ensure the construction of a coherent pedagogical technology. The presented criterion-based diagnostic apparatus, including levels (high, medium, low) and criteria for assessing the development of reading literacy among primary school students, makes it possible to identify students' typical difficulties, which subsequently form the basis for targeted remedial work. The article presents data from the ascertaining stage of the experiment, differentiated by age group (grades 5–6, 7–8, and 9), demonstrating the predominance of text semantization and the weak development of the empathic component in the analytical work of the majority of students, which serves as the basis for introducing analytical work as a pedagogical technology. The empirical base of the study comprised 314 students in grades 5–9 (156 in the experimental group, 158 in the control group) from three general education institutions in Shumerlya, Chuvash Republic. Based on the results obtained, it is possible to conclude that models for organizing the educational process can be developed, incorporating components of analytical and creative approaches to conducting classes and extracurricular activities.

    The article addresses the achievement of high didactic effectiveness through the synthesis of gamification and business simulations, as well as its integration into university curricula and corporate training systems as a modern means of shaping economic thinking in the digital age. In the context of digital transformation and interdisciplinary research, the traditional concept of “economic thinking,” grounded in the postulates of classical and neoclassical schools, has long been conveyed through conventional teaching methods. Under current economic conditions, these methods demonstrate their limitations and inadequacy in forming theoretical knowledge, complex skills, and the personal qualities required of an active participant in economic activity. The modern digital business environment demands that potential market participants possess competencies in analytics and management, as well as skills in the effective application of key ICT and digital tools. Furthermore, the ability to build effective communication and collaboration, along with a readiness to make decisions under uncertainty, is essential. This circumstance determines the relevance of the conducted research, the aim of which is to assess the potential and demonstrate the effectiveness of interactive methods based on game mechanics (gamification) and simulation modeling (business simulations) for developing the structural components of economic thinking in the university educational process. The article presents the results of a comparative analysis of theoretical approaches, a review of methodological foundations, and a description of practical cases involving the implementation of a model for integrating game mechanisms and modules into educational and corporate training systems. It is proven that interactive methods not only increase engagement but also structurally transform the cognitive models and beliefs of learners, fostering applied economic thinking. Empirical data from a pedagogical experiment conducted at the State University of Humanities and Technology (Faculty of Mathematics, Physics, and Economics, Management program) confirm a statistically significant increase in the studied components.

  • Educational and Professional Motives of First‑Year Psychology Students in Modern Conditions

    This work is devoted to the study of the educational and professional motives of first‑year students majoring in Psychology who live and study in different sociocultural environments. This research is driven by the need to study the influence of external conditions on the formation of educational and professional motives in first‑year students, since this process is of key importance for training qualified specialists prepared for the challenges of the labor market and of modernity. According to self‑determination theory, the factors influencing the transformation of professional aspirations are social relatedness, the academic environment, and work experience. The methodological framework of the research comprises the theories of motives developed by E. P. Ilyin and A. N. Leontiev, J. Atkinson's achievement motivation theory, A. Maslow's motivation theory, and the results of contemporary scholarly work. The study, aimed at examining the motives of first‑year students, involved 88 students from Mariupol and 76 students from Saint Petersburg. Qualitative and quantitative methods were used to process the research results, in particular, the calculation of the Kolmogorov-Smirnov coefficient and the Mann-Whitney U test. Statistically significant differences in the motives for academic activity were found among first‑year psychology students studying in different regions. In the Mariupol sample, the motive of creative self‑realization, along with the professional motive, was found to occupy a leading position, while the prestige motive was absent; in the Saint Petersburg sample, by contrast, professional and social motives for learning ranked first and second, with no pronounced motives for creative self‑realization or learning‑cognitive activity as such. The conducted pilot study demonstrated the need for further research. This will subsequently allow for the development of recommendations for higher education teachers on organizing the educational process in order to foster the educational and professional motivation of future specialists and to take it into account when designing curriculum content and supporting the educational process.

    The chapter reveals the intrinsic essence of the phenomenon of educational quality, defined as the normative standard that educational outcomes and all products of education must meet. It is shown that contemporary educational activity is characterized by new fields of study and specializations, a well-developed material and technical infrastructure, high demand for graduates, strategies for targeted multi-level training, and sufficient budgetary and non-budgetary funding. Educational quality is viewed as an embedded support system for interconnected actions aimed at comprehensively enhancing the qualifications of each instructor, fostering the creative potential of the teaching staff, and improving the educational process in order to achieve an optimal standard of education.

  • Formation of creative thinking among master's students in the educational process of higher education

    The chapter presents the results of an empirical study on the influence of interactive teaching methods on the development of creative thinking in master's students in management. Based on a sample of 100 respondents (61 women and 39 men, mean age 28.7 years), using the Remote Associates Test by S. Mednick (adapted by A.N. Voronin), E. Torrance's Test, and an author-developed questionnaire for pedagogical self-assessment of creative potential, statistically significant gender differences were identified: women demonstrated a higher integral creativity index by 3.3 points (t = 2.49; p = 0.015; d = 0.51), with significant differences for the verbal component (t = 2.39; p = 0.019; d = 0.49) and non-significant differences for the figurative component (t = 0.34; p = 0.73; d = 0.07). The chapter includes a theoretical analysis of pedagogical conditions for creativity development in higher education, empirical data, and practical recommendations for designing interactive sessions that account for the identified differences among students.

    The chapter substantiates the need to transform formal holidays in preschool institutions into educational events for dialogue between teachers, children, and parents. The relevance is related to the requirements of partnership with the family and support for the child's emotional well-being. The chapter identifies the reasons for the formalization of holidays. It proposes a model for organizing a holiday (target, content, communicative, and reflective components) and the conditions for its effectiveness: voluntary participation, child agency, respect for family experiences, joint activities, and reflection. It is concluded that a holiday in a preschool institution can become not a formal event, but a space for dialogue, if it is based on the principles of voluntariness, the child's subjectivity, respect for family experience, joint activities, and subsequent reflection.

  • Between shame and autonomy: two faces of adolescent vulnerability in the educational environment

    Abstract:
    The chapter is devoted to constructing a differentiated analytical model of age-related vulnerability in adolescents within the educational environment for two ontogenetically distinct cohorts: ages 10–13 and 14–18. The author proceeds from the position that a unified interpretation of adolescence is methodologically untenable, since identical behavioral manifestations (irritability, withdrawal, conflict behavior, declining academic performance) may be generated by fundamentally different psychological mechanisms and therefore require differentiated diagnostics. For early adolescence, the concept of «three pillars of stability» is proposed: self-perceived competence, self-regulation, and social status within the peer group, the weakening of which explains typical forms of school maladaptation. For late adolescence, the leading challenge is considered to be the existential task of identity and autonomy formation, intensified by the digital environment of social comparison and cyberbullying. Based on the analysis of Russian and international empirical data (WHO, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, HSE University, VCIOM), a three-level «risk map» of the educational environment has been operationalized, encompassing structural, social, and personal-psychological levels. Current diagnostic practice is also described (ongoing observation, annual screening, in-depth diagnostics), along with the «school ambassador» institution as a mechanism for early identification and referral of adolescents at psychological risk. The study shows that the structural level of the school environment plays a foundational role: the concentration of up to 70% of bullying cases within a limited circle of educational institutions points to the institutional, rather than purely individual-psychological, nature of most risks. The proposed model provides a basis for schools to shift from reactive intervention toward systematic, age-differentiated prevention.
